takes two to tango

These two perfumes are nothing alike. individually, they are very different in compositions. Midsummer fantasy is more of a citrus summertime scent which is very citrusy fresh. Yuzu and grapes scent is the dominant scent on my nose. The Butterfly Narcissus is a more floral forward scent, not mellow in smell and not too bold as well, but i found out that layering both of Midsummer fantasy and Butterfly Narcissus scents makes much more sense as it balance out the strong citrus notes with floral touches. Guess it needs layering for better scent outcome.

Butterfly Narcissus

This reminds me so much of the discontinued Anna Sui Fairy Dance, which I used to love, so I was really happy when I first tried this! I get nervous with rose scents because I find them overpowering sometimes, but the peach and apricot are a perfect balancing combination. The scent never feels heavy even after drydown. I didn't care for the shimmer in it because I like to spray my clothes to make the scent last longer, and the glitter will show up wherever you spray. And like other reviews have said, it doesn't last a very long time on your skin. I recommend buying one of those refillable travel atomizers so you can do a touch up if you'll be out for long periods of time.
