The Butterfly Narcissus I would say is my less favorite smell out of the two (I smelled the other through samples). It smells soapy and floral, with soapy being the more overpowering of the two. Even though it's still a pleasant smell, given the soapy-ness, I think I would rather have the scent on a cleaning product... but that makes it a very clean, springtime fragrance.
Butterfly Narcissus opens with a sweet apple note, similar to that of the Moonlight Mermaid Jewelry Lip Gloss. Combined with the almond and florals, the overall scent is light, soapy and feminine. Unlike other Flower Knows perfumes, the base note is extremely subtle in this one. Not once has the musk given me a headache. It is not particularly unique, but I reach for Butterfly Narcissus over all other Flower Knows perfumes. It is perfect as an everyday fragrance. 5/5
Midsummer Fantasy opens with a strong citrus note. Once dry, the spiciness of the vetiver emerges, but the citrus remains prominent. This one is definitely more of a unisex or masculine fragrance. It reminds me of CK One by Calvin Klein. For me, it is too heavy and headache-inducing. 1/5
Midsummer Fantasy (white) smells super fresh with a hint of sweetness to me! The yuzu stands out very strongly. I haven't had a chance to test its longevity on my skin, but I can still smell it on my sheets ~2 days later. I like the citrus smell, but someone did comment that it smelled like a more upscale cleaning spray. :/
Butterfly Narcissus is more floral and sweet. A somewhat more generic scent, but there's nothing wrong with that; it's not very strong, but it smells clean, and people wouldn't really be inclined to point out the scent since it just smells NICE but not SPECIAL. The scent lasts around 4 hours on my skin before it starts fading (but bear in mind that skin chemistry varies wildly between different people and perfumes don't always perform the same).
